Grade 10 CarTech® M50 Precision Ball (DFARS)
CarTech® M50 bearing steel is refined using vacuum-induction melting(VIM) and vacuum-arc remelting (VAR) processes. It has been widely used in the bearing for aircraft and gas turbine engines operating at service temperatures up to 700℉(371℃)
HRGQ manufactures M50 balls in Grade 10 and above. The material is directly purchased from Carpenter USA.
The heat-treating process in HRGQ is strictly followed by AMS2759/2 (or customer's spec) and conducted in NADCAP certified facilities.
